Arsenal defender Ben White has been left out of the England squad for their final two World Cup qualifiers ahead of Qatar 2022. He was a major absentee from the 25-man squad named for the Albania and San Marino games last week Thursday by manager Gareth Southgate.

White, 24, has been in good form for Arsenal this season, but it was not enough to earn him a place in the England team for the November qualifiers as the one-time world champions bid to secure a spot at the World Cup tournament next year.
