LIVERPOOL WANT WOLVES STAR

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ boss Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted his uncertainty over the future of Liverpool target Adama Traore. Traore has enjoyed a breakout campaign for the Molineux outfit and there have been increasing speculation regarding his future with several clubs interested in the pacy winger. Barcelona and Liverpool are the two clubs to have shown interest in the player.

Liverpool have gone one step ahead, as they have asked about his availability. Liverpool see the pacy winger as the replacement for Sadio Mane who has refused new contract offers from Liverpool. The 24-year old Spanish professional footballer has been consistent in the wings since he joined Wolves in 2018 form Middlesbrough. He has assisted eight goals so far and is viewed as an impact substitute at the Molineux.

Nino stated that Traore is committed to Wolves and he is fully concentrated on the next match. He admitted that Traore has performed well this season and it is natural for top clubs to show interest in the player. He did however reveal that the club will do all they can to hold on to their price asset.

The former Barcelona academy player is also open to a move away from the club. He disclosed that he needs to move to a big club in order to boost his chances of representing Spain in future international tournaments. The player was expected to make the squad for Euro 2020 this summer. The competition has been postponed to the next summer. Traore believes a move to a big club and a consistent performance from him will boost his chances of making the squad to Euro 2021.
